Classification: -
Glycosides are classified on the basis of chemical nature of aglycone.
They are classified into following groups.
I.e. digitalis, strophanthus, White squill.
i.e. Senna, Aloe, Cascara, Rhubarb, Cochineal.
i.e. Glycyrrhiza, Sarsaparilla.
4. Cyanophore or Cyanogenic Glycosides:-
i.e. wild cherry.
5. Isothiocyanate Glycosides:-
i.e. Black Mustard.
i.e. Cantharide.
i.e. Vanilla
