Six sterilization methods are available and are selected based on the item, material of product to be sterilized. These include; 1) sterilization by steam, 2) sterilization by dry heat, 3) sterilization by ethylene oxide, 4) sterilization by filtration, 5) Lyophilization, and 6) sterilization by -radiations. A detail description of the methods has already been given in previous classes.
