Following steps should be taken for achieving effective co-ordination.
• Early Defined Goals: Objectives should be specific and attainable and actionable with characteristics:
Clear: If it is not understandable and not clear it shows incompetence of planner and lack of purpose.
Understandable even by non-professionals.
Acceptable for all participants.
Flexible during the course of action if amendments are required, it should be changed.
Compatible with limitations and resources.

Time Table: It should have sufficient time framework to complete.
Effective Communication: Channels of communication used in the enterprise should be reliable so that they are able to create proper understanding in the mind of receiver. Personal contacts should be encouraged.
Better Organization: Authority, responsibilities, assigned procedures and policies should be strictly followed.
Co-operation & Group Meeting: To exchange views, to remove misunderstandings or conflicts among them, they should be encouraged to discuss their problems and to decide for effective plan.
Personality of Manager: Friendly management, effective leadership and supervision can ensure better co-ordination.
